Broadway!

A few nights ago, while trying to fall asleep, I was trying to remember all of the Broadway plays I have seen. I thought it'd be fun to make a list. If anything, I can always refer to my blog for a reminder.

In no particular order:

1) Phantom of the Opera
2) Cats
3) Miss Saigon
4) Rent
5) Chicago
6) Hairspray
7) Jersey Boys
8) Mamma Mia!
9) Oliver Twist
10) Annie
11) Jesus Christ, Superstar
12) The Producers
13) Oklahoma!
14) 42nd Street
15) Modern Millie
16) Starlight Express

As you can see, I'm a big fan of musicals. The one that I have wanted to see now for a few years is Wicked. We tried to see it in Orlando, but the tickets were too expensive.

Bob, Kathy, Mom...did I miss any?

Oldies, but Goodies

This picture was taken in late 2004, when we first started dating.  It was taken during lunch by Bob's dad.  It was the first time I met my future father-in-law.

Runner's Mecca, Birmingham, AL

Because we are in an apartment for the next few months, I have done most of my running on a trail in Birmingham. It is a great trail, across the street from Samford University.  I was becoming a little annoyed with having to drive almost 8 miles to go running, but I think it's worth it.  Most of the trail is shaded, it's paved, and the hills are not bad at all. Winston loves it too. He's my running buddy.  Anyhow, the reason why I love it so much is because of all the people running, walking, and biking on it. It is a huge motivator for me to see other runners. It keeps me going, when I really want to quit. I love passing them, and waving hello.  So, until our house is built, and I can run in an actual neighborhood, I will continue on at Runner's Mecca, in Birmingham, Alabama.

P.S. The actual trail name is Shades Creek Greenway.
