We had a pretty jam-packed weekend to celebrate the 4th of July this year. We had dinner plans with friends to start off the weekend, on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, our neighborhood once again out-did itself. A few families hosted a great party - with tons of food, toys for the kids, a bounce house, slip n' slide, and a live DJ. The party ended with a great fireworks show. Overall, there were over 200 people at this party! It was held in one of the larger green spaces, towards towards the back of the neighborhood. We are already looking forward to next year!

It pretty much rained all day on the actual 4th, but we were happy. We were worn out, and just laid around the house, and got caught up on some rest. Poor Bobby is still trying to catch up on his sleep, I think! ;-)
