Bobby's First Trip to the Zoo!

Bobby's first birthday fell on Friday, April 30th. My parents were in town, as well as Bob's. Daddy took off work, and more family came in for the special day from Atlanta. We filled our tummies with a big lunch, and headed off to the Birmingham Zoo for a fun-filled afternoon! After our trip, we headed home for a cookout of hamburgers and hot dogs on our new grill (thanks Dad!).

Bobby's eight cousins (my side) came to Birmingham two weeks ago to meet him for the first time. It was a lot of fun, and I was so happy to have them all at our home to meet our little guy. I feel so fortunate that he has been born into such a large family! If only I can convince Bob to have more than two kids...ha ha.

Grandma and Grandpa Lee

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, my parents recently visited. It was so wonderful to have them visit again! Last time they were here, I felt so hormonal, and sleep deprived. This visit was much better. We didn't do too much, because honestly, what can you do with a 2 month old baby? Ha ha! But, we did make a point of getting out of the house each day. My mom and I got pedicures, and we went out to dinner one night. And, of course, we ran some errands. My mom and I took Bobby to Wal-Mart for the first time. He was bright-eyed and bushy tailed for this outing. It was probably stimulation overload for him - ha!
