Work? Who? Me?

I have a pretty busy week ahead, but I am very thankful. I'm actually working five (yes, five!) days this week. I usually only work three. I asked my boss to stack my hours for me as long as possible. I am hoping to work up until the baby comes, but in my job, it may be difficult. For those of you that do not know, I'm no longer working in good ol' Corporate America. I do miss my old job (in Florida) a lot though. It was a great company, and the people there were amazing. I now work for a running speciality store in Birmingham called Fleet Feet. You may have heard of this store, there are about 90 or so nationwide. I love my job here though! I am a runner, and it truly is fun to have a job where your professional and personal life coincide so perfectly.

*Speaking of running, Bob ran the Mercedes Half Marathon this weekend. More on that, once I upload the pictures.

Ok, so besides work, I have a fun Wednesday afternoon planned with a co-worker and friend, who is also pregnant. [There truly is something in the water here. There are three pregnant girls on my street alone in the neighborhood (along with many others just in the neighborhood). And, there are three of us at work that are pregnant. We only have 6 employees. So, if you are trying to conceive, move to Birmingham!] We will be heading out for lunch one day, and then glider shopping. Ooooh la la. The glider is the only piece of furniture I still need to find.

And then, finally, to wrap the week up, we have a Couple's Wedding Shower on Saturday night.

Let's just hope I'm still this chipper in my pregnant state by the end of the week. I hope everyone has a great week. And, Happy President's Day, especially if you are off! (I would have been at my old job!) Ha!

Hey! Just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog! I used to run a lot, but am working hard at getting back into it. The Nikes I'm getting are the Shox Navinas! They are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever tried on! I'll post the chicken salad recipe tomorrow. ;) Have a great day!

Hey! I just read where you are looking for a glider.. we have one in our house, not for a nursery but will probably move it or get another just like it! It's the best EVER! We got it at the Alabama Furniture Market in Calera, http://www.alabamafurnituremarket.com/
We have gotten a ton of our furniture there b/c they sell great stuff at wholesale prices! The chair we got is a Best brand chair.. it looks more like a chair than a rocker, they have one in their baby section, you are more than welcome to try ours out if you want!
