Yesterday, we spent most of our day talking about hardwood floors for the house. Bob had done some shopping around the day before, and wanted to show me what he had found. We trekked over to Lowe's and Home Depot. We have decided to put down bamboo flooring. We do not agree on the color yet, but we have awhile to make a decision. He likes a really light color, almost blonde-ish called "natural." I like the next darkest shade up, "spice." We are hoping we can find a color that is in-between. Until then, I'm taking votes to see which is the better color. Which color do you like?

Personally I like the blonde. It has a cleaner look to it.

I dig the Spice..I think it is more inviting.
I like the spice! We just did hard wood in our house and we actually did a darker wood called Brazilian Cherry. It's really pretty but scratches are going to be way more apparent... you live and learn. I love the 5 inch slats, that's what we did also.

Just for the record - all you Spice Lovers - when I looked at the variation in the 'spice' it had some lighter pieces too. The sample we have is pretty dark...
