On May 8th, 2010, Bob competed in his first Half Ironman triathlon. We packed up the car, (and all of his gear), and headed down to Panama City Beach for the Gulf Coast Triathlon. Bob trained vigorously for many months, and it most definitely paid off! With a goal of completing the race in under 6 hours; he surpassed it with an overall time of 5:52! While training for the race was sometimes stressful on him (he missed a good 3 weeks due to sickness), and us, it was worth it!
Great job Bob, and what an AMAZING feat!
